Hi, I’m Olia and welcome to Nurse Olia!

I’m a nurse in the Emergency Department in Toronto, a globe trotter addict and just trying to step out of my comfort zone by trying new things. I’ve discovered the beauty of trying to talk to complete strangers that we encounter everyday, it can lead to amazing conversations and incredible stories that you would have otherwise missed.

I’ve started this blog to document all these beautiful stories that I encounter on my journey as a nurse, a traveler and as a simple human being living day by day in this modern world. I wanted to create a space that I can dedicate to empowering and inspiring nurses, nursing students and people who can relate to the ups and downs of everyday life.

We may not have everything in common, but I’ll bet you there will be at least one thing we can relate on. With lots of love, support and just positive energy we can create a little safe bubble. So, let’s be friends, explore and go on these journeys together!
